When Corry and Jeff chose Shirakawa-go as one of their destinations, we couldn’t be more excited to hop on the plane and start the journey. Hence, spring and autumn known as good seasons to visit Japan, nothing can beat the excitement and child-like wonder of how it feels during winter.
Where snow falls the heaviest, the moment we stepped out the bus, the scenery immediately transported us to few centuries back. Crystal clear water in a small river blend perfectly with its surrounding: snow, drop like a feather, softly to the ground. The village covered with thick snow and its old reed houses, yet Corry and Jeff intertwined, embraced the warmth together, hand in hand. Even if the ice melts in the snow, their love won’t vanish.
